They call MODEX the Super Bowl of the supply chain—and this April, CESL founder Marvin Mc Intosh was on the field.

Held April 13–16 at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center, MODEX 2026 brought together more than 1,000 exhibitors across 600,000 square feet, from traditional handling equipment to automation, robotics, and AI. It’s the largest supply chain trade show in North America, produced by industry association MHI.

CESL attended as a guest of our selling partner Southworth Products—the world’s largest manufacturer of ergonomic lifting and positioning equipment, and the brand behind the lift tables and pallet positioners we supply across Trinidad & Tobago. Among the highlights at their booth: a 90-degree tilter engineered to safely and efficiently reposition large workpieces, flat sheets, and rolls. This is exactly the kind of solution that takes strain off operators in Caribbean manufacturing plants.

Just as valuable as the equipment: the room. Between the partner evening at Terminus 330 and the distributor breakfast at the Congress Center, CESL spent the week strengthening the direct factory relationships that let us bring you answers—and lead times—that a catalogue can’t.

What this means for you

  • The solutions we recommend are the ones we’ve seen demonstrated, questioned, and compared against the whole industry—not just a brochure.
  • Direct factory relationships mean faster specification, honest availability answers, and support that goes to the source.
  • Innovations like the 90° tilter reach our clients’ shortlists the moment they launch—not years later.
